About Me
Hi, I’m Tanya Ces Maneiro.
I’m a qualified coach and specialise in career transitions and work-life balance. When it came to deciding on a name for my company, I chose Vida Coaching. Vida means ‘life’ in Spanish and as I loved the name, and my family are a fusion of English and Spanish, it seemed to be the obvious choice.
I’ve always loved helping people which was the main reason I chose to work in HR and Training for over 10 years. However, it’s only since becoming a career coach that I feel completely fulfilled and passionate about my work. I’ve been in jobs that I haven’t enjoyed and I know the impact that can have. I feel so grateful that I have found my ideal career and now want to use my experience to help others do the same.
I live in Maidenhead with my Spanish husband, John, my 10 year old daughter Evie and our slightly crazy puppy Coco. My husband is the reason I have the fancy surname, my maiden name being the slightly less exotic, Baker!
I was born in Essex and lived briefly in Cheshire and London, but have lived in the Home Counties for most of my life, and Maidenhead in particular for about 15 years.
Three facts about me:
1. I love the theatre and once performed at the Edinburgh festival.
2. I’ve travelled all over the world and had some amazing experiences including jumping out of an aeroplane and being chased through the jungle by an orang-utan (he definitely didn’t look this friendly when he was chasing us!)
3. I was once in an earthquake in Peru which registered at a magnitude of 6 on the richter scale.
Qualifications and Achievements
I achieved a distinction in my Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching from The Coaching Academy in 2015 and am a qualified NLP Practitioner. I’m also accredited to conduct DISC Personality Profiling.
I was a finalist for Business Girl of the Year in the Maidenhead Business Girls 2017 Inspire Awards and a finalist for The Coaching Academy’s International Coaching Awards 2017.
